Lincoln Electric Co. of Canada Ltd., Mississuaga, ON, has created a special helmet with the Canadian Welding Association (CWA) logo to help promote the association. For every ten helmets Lincoln sells, one will be donated to students.
“I encourage industry suppliers to do similar things and get our logo onto their products,” says Dan Tadic, executive director of the CWA. “The more awareness we can create about the welding industry, the more successful we will be in engaging students in the welding industry. This is something that benefits the entire industry because we’re reaching out to the next generation of welders.”
