The Scotchman Industries CPO 315 hitch feed automatic cold saw is a fully automatic circular cold saw that provides uninterrupted cutting on tubing or solids and supplies a high quality of cuts.
The machine is ideal for high volume and short length applications that require very accurate and clean cuts. It has a length tolerance of +/- .004 on u to 3 1/2 in. (89 mm) diameter tube or pipe and up to 2 in. (51 mm) solid material. The machine uses a 12 1/2 in. (318 mm) blade and has the ability to cut pieces as short as 1/8 in. (3.1 mm) and as long as 90 in. (2, 300 mm). It uses a 30 in. (762 mm) index that can be run a maximum of three times. Optional form jaws can be used to feed multiple pieces of smaller diameter material for hourly piece counts in the hundreds, reducing labour costs.
