Tweco, an ESAB brand, has introduced the Fusion Pro 450 water cooled MIG gun.

The Fusion Pro 450 is designed for running wires from 8.9 to 1.58 mm (0.035- to 1/16-in.) diameter in medium- to heavy-duty industrial fabrication, maintenance and repair applications. Using mixed gas, the Fusion Pro 450 is rated at 450 amps at 100 per cent duty cycle; with CO2 shielding gas, it is rated at 500 amps at 100 per cent duty cycle.

The Fusion Pro 450 uses easy to service front end consumables, similar to those found on the Tweco Supra 450 water-cooled MIG gun, but it also features an insulated torch neck, slip on nozzle and ergonomic handle with rubber soft areas that make the torch more comfortable to handle. Guns come with 3.05- or 4.57-m (10- or 15-ft.) cables and are available with standard Tweco back end connections, Euro style connections or connects for other leading wire feeder brands.

For higher amperage needs or running 2.4 mm (3/32 in.) diameter wires, Tweco offers its Standard 600-amp water cooled MIG gun, which has a 100 per cent duty cycle at 600 amps with CO2 shielding gas.
