Click image to enlargeThe K-TIG 1000 Evolve II is a unique approach to TIG welding that opens and manages a full-penetration “keyhole” through the joint.
Up to 100x faster than conventional GTAW, TIG welds that typically take hours can be completed in minutes, and is capable of full-penetration, single-pass GTAW welding up to 1/2 inch (12mm) in stainless steels and up to 5/8 inch (16mm) in reactive metals.
Wire consumption is reduced by 85-100 per cent, gas consumption is reduced by 80-95 per cent, and the system saves time because it eliminates edge bevelling and post-weld grinding.
Simple, intuitive controls are delivered via the K-TIG 1000 Evolve II 21-in. touch screen controller.
The system is rated to 1000amps, 100 per cent duty cycle for extreme reliability, and cloud-enabled software upgrades improve data backups and online support with real-time data capture, reporting and quality management.
It integrates seamlessly with virtually all welding automation equipment.
