Yaskawa Cockpit is a new software platform from Yaskawa that monitors, accumulates and visually delivers operational data in real time for networked production environments.
This data collection and visualization software tool connects hardware devices across the entire production environment for asset management, predictive maintenance analysis, alarm notification and data management. It provides instant collection of data for equipment performance, operational trends and historical analysis.
Yaskawa Cockpit delivers real-time data to those responsible for making decisions. An integrated approach means it can synchronize factory and operational knowledge, enabling users to implement data-driven planning.
Yaskawa Cockpit is one of the first extensible robot management systems. Non-robot devices throughout the factory can be incorporated with add-on functions, which are used to collect, analyze and display data from various components, providing a centralized view of operations.
While the data is processed, stored and presented locally through a simple browser-based interface, the data can also be forwarded to external resources for utilization of AI-based Big Data analytics.
Customers can use their own experience and expertise to build their own flexible solutions.
The use of the standard Open Platform Communication Unified Architecture (OPC-UA) interface – a widely accepted machine-to-machine protocol – allows data to be shared throughout the extended enterprise or external systems through Cloud technology.
