Mahr has introduced a new interactive MarWin-based gauging software and modular-based gauging system.

The new system lets users configure and implement simple to complex gauging solutions quickly and cost effectively. The system is designed to meet the ID, OD, length and simulated form measurement needs of today's manufacturing environment where speed to implementation, long- or short-runs or quick changeovers are becoming the industry standard. Both offerings provide the features of a dedicated bench or gaging computer system in a flexible and versatile set of tools that are combined to provide speed and accuracy for a custom or dedicated gaging solution.

“The Cockpit Software and N 1700 Modules fulfill a need for multiple input gaging applications,” said George Schuetz, Mahr Inc. director of Precision Gauges. “These systems deliver another dimension to the gaging paradigm with a simple but powerful Windows-based gaging program and a full set of gaging modules that customers can configure for their specific measurement application.”

The software is already set up and configured by on-screen measurement icons, so users aren’t required to have specialized programming knowledge. The various input modules are stackable plug-and-play devices which are immediately recognized and implemented, so creating the measuring solution can be completed rapidly.
