Gravity-feed autocut bandsaw without miter-left cutting
- October 23, 2019
Kalamazoo Machine Tool has eliminated the miter-left cutting feature on its model H310 U bandsaw.
The move is a response to customer requests for a lower-priced cold saw that still delivers the same quality sawing, Kalamazoo says. The saw is a gravity-feed autocut bandsaw still capable of mitering 60 degrees to the right. The TEFC 3-phase drive motor has two speeds: 60 FPM and 360 FPM.
The model H 310 U saw’s Autocut feature ensures that each cut is fed at the same rate, eliminating the need to open and close the valve on each cut. The cycle start button is located in the trigger switch for safety. The blade will turn off at the end of the cut and the solenoid will hold the sawframe where lifted.
Additional features of the model H 310 U include an easily opened/closed vise with a handwheel, a quick handle for repetitive cuts, carbide guides with rollers, a totally enclosed worm gear transmission, full coolant system and full blade guarding. Several optional conveyor systems are available.
