Prima Power will premiere new systems at this year’s Fabtech including its 2D Laser Genius+, the BCe Smart panel bender, and the eP-0520 press brake.

The Laser Genius+ is designed and built in Italy and features proprietary Prima hi-tech solutions. The system’s 180 m/min trajectory speed and 2.8 g acceleration reduce cycle times and enhance productivity and cutting quality, Prima says.

Billed as a “plug & play” machine, Laser Genius+ can be ready to cut in under a week, Prima says. A small-footprint symmetrical and reversible layout enables the system to be implemented in a wide range of production contexts.

The BCe Smart bending cell will also be on display, a semi-automatic bending solution featuring a “safety integrated” concept that allows the operator to focus only on value-added operations, aided by visual devices and sound signals.

For manual bending, visitors can also see the eP-0520 high-speed servo-electric press brake in action. Other products on display will include the new combined shearing + punching Shear Genius 1530 EVO with Fast Loading Storage, and the Laser Genius 1530 2D laser cutting machine with a 10-shelf Combo Tower Laser.

Prima will be exhibiting at Booth #A2152.

North America’s largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing event, Fabtech takes place Sept. 13-16 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
