Among the technologies Schunk will be exhibiting at CMTS this year are its Co-act EGP-C Electric two-finger parallel gripper and its VERO-S NSE3 premium modules.
The Co-act EGP-C Electric two-finger parallel gripper is certified for collaborative operations with an actuation via 24 V and digital I/O. The Co-act EGP-C is used for gripping and moving of small and midsized workpieces with flexible force in collaborative operations in areas of assembly, electronics and machine tool loading. It offers plug and work on cobots from Kuka, Fanuc, Yaskawa, Techman Robots, and Universal Robots.
Schunk also has the new VERO-S NSE3 premium modules offer positioning and clamping in one operation. The modules are compatible with the previous VERO-S modular system and are available in more than 1,000 possible combinations. An optional, spring-actuated conus connection automatically locks the clamping interface of the modules, as soon as the clamping pin is lifted.
