Amada’s latest fiber laser cutting machine, the Ventis 3015 AJ, achieves virtually dross-free cutting of a variety of materials and thicknesses including stainless steel and aluminum.
It features company’s Locus Beam Control (LBC) to achieve infinite locus patterns — ensuring optimum fiber laser beam shape control for each specific cutting application. Amada says that LBC technology achieves unprecedented high speed and high quality cutting — up to three times faster than a conventional fiber laser. To maintain optimal quality of the high-energy density laser beam, Amada has developed a high brightness fiber laser oscillator.
Key features of the fiber laser include:
- Quality Mode: High-quality processing improves surface finish and eliminates dross
- Kerf Control Mode: Enables long-term stable processing during automated system operation.
- Productivity Mode: Optimal beam quality is essential to ensure high-quality cuts and the nearly burr-free, smooth cutting of stainless steel and aluminum.
