Hurco VMX42SRTi five axis machining centreClick image to enlargeThe VMX42RTi five axis machining centre from Hurco is equipped with a direct drive C axis flush rotary torque table for a larger work envelope.

The C axis rotary table supports taller parts of 80 mm (3.5 in.) because of the additional height in the Z axis. For three axis work, the increased table size supports parts up to 1,067 x 1,067 mm (42 x 42 in.). The machine is equipped with Hurco's UltiMotion motion control system that the company says reduces cycle times by 30 per cent or more.
