GF Machining Solutions has expanded its line of laser texturing solutions with the Laser P 400 three axis and Laser P 400U five axis machines.

The machines provide easy, repeatable laser engraving texturing and structuring for small parts, such as for watches, jewelry, cutting tools, small inserts and micromachined workpieces.

As with all of GF Machining Solutions’ Laser machines, the 400 family offers infinitely repeatable high performance, accuracy and quality. The range’s fully digitized texturing process makes it easy to texture, mark, engrave and add functional texture to parts, molds and dies, even when dealing with complex 3D parts.

The machines are designed with a modular concept and feture a patented dual laser head that includes a fiber nanosecond laser and femtosecond pulsed laser. This allows texturing and engraving of a surface in a single setup, and extends the range of materials tha can be used.

With a footprint of 1,220 x 2,230 mm (48.4 x 87.8 in), the machines can be incorporated into an existing production environment. The P400 model accommodates workpieces upt o 599 x 399 x 249 mm (23.6 x 15.7 x 9.8 in.) and the Laser P 400U handles workpieces with a maximum diamter and height of 119 mm (4.7 in.)

The machines are automation rady and allow for unattended night and weekend operation. The machines can be partnered with a System 3R pallent changer for more flexibility.
