Mitutoyo`s newest line of in-line horizontal arm CMMs is the MACH-3A 653, designed for high measuring volumes in production environments.
The new CMM is design for applications such as power train parts, engine components, turbine blades and other high production parts. Adding indexable probes increases the capability and flexibility of the system. It has a measuring range of (X) 605 mm x (Y) 505 mm x (Z) 285 mm capable of a high speed of 1212 mm/s with a maximum acceleration of 12000 mm/s2 (=0.7 g). It operates with a 5° to 40° C range.
