With market demands continuously evolving, increasing productivity is a key challenge for businesses all over the world. This is especially true for metal fabricators, where the need for skilled welders is growing by the day across the world.

Many manufacturers are struggling to retain and hire skilled welders, meaning they have to no-quote future business or pay overtime to meet customer demands. But luckily there is another option that will drive productivity, increase consistency and boost welder engagement – collaborative welding.

That’s why Universal Robots, a provider of collaborative robot (cobot) solutions, will be hosting a virtual conference focusing exclusively on the future of welding on October 26.

Called ‘ReAutomated: The virtual experience’, this event will give fabricators exclusive insights into how collaborative welding tools can improve productivity, and help unlock efficiency gains.

The event will be broadcast live from Universal Robots’ Center of Excellence for welding in Novi, Michigan. Universal Robots says attendees will experience:

– Insightful panel discussions with experts and industry leaders
– Successful manufacturer case stories and live welder interviews
– Introduction of the groundbreaking UR20 robot and a live welding demonstration
– Live audience Q&A session with industry experts ready to answer your pressing questions

“Trying to increase productivity and efficiency while also lacking skilled labor is a mission impossible. This is where cobots can help. We are seeing a surge in adoption of collaborative welding solutions, but many still have questions on how to get started. That’s why we are hosting this event,” Will Healy III, Global Industry Segment Leader for Welding at Universal Robots, says. “No matter if you’re a small family-owned company or a large multi-national enterprise, this broadcast will be packed with the latest knowledge and share the best tips for increasing welder engagement, driving consistency and boosting your productivity with collaborative welding tools.”
