As TRUMPF Inc. continues to operate under state manufacturing exemptions we have shifted our capacities towards more digital means of communication in order to reach our customers. Due to travel restrictions, the TRUMPF Training Center has developed online training options such as webinars where customers spend about 3 hours a day in live sessions with instructors. Following the webinars, customers work on assignments where they then practice machine operation and programming. TRUMPF has also worked to host virtual machine demonstrations and virtual facility tours in a time where it is more relevant than ever. This offers customers the opportunity to interact and discuss equipment with sales personnel in real-time by taking advantage of the digital tools we have developed over the years. From the service side of business, TRUMPF’s Smart Glasses continue to play a vital role for customer support with the remote troubleshooting of equipment during this time.
