WTO has introduced the CoolSpeed mini for high speed micro machining.
The CoolSpeed mini (pictured above) delivers an ultra high rotation speed of up to 80 000 rpm. The unit fits in standard sealed tool holders and offers dynamic runout.
The tool is only driven by machine coolant 10-60 bar (145-870 psi) = 30 000-80 000rpm or shop air 4-5 bar (58-73 psi) = 45 000-50 000 rpm. Tool shaft diameters 1/8”, 3/16”, 3 mm, 4 mm, 6 mm.
Applications cover milling, drilling, grinding, chamfering and engraving.
WTO has also introduced precision static tool holders individually designed for each turning centre and manufactured with the precision required so that customers are able to use the full capacity of their machine.
The holders feature internal coolant supply for better productivity. The new generation of shank and blade tool holders with internal coolant supply through the tool shank provide increased cutting tool life and cutting feed rate with fast tool setup time.
