Westway Machinery, Mississauga, ON, held a three-day open house for customers to showcase its line of fabricating equipment and to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
For the first time, the company added Saturday to its open house. Bernie Walter, marketing manager, says customers are busier these days and many of them can’t make it out to an open house during the week, “so we thought having a day on the week-end would be good.”
Machines on display included a Safan press brake, a Flow waterjet, a TimeSavers widebelt sander, Baykal punching and forming equipment and a Seyi press. Of particular note was a Loonie placed atop the Seyi press, which did not fall during a demo, illustrating the steadiness of motion of the press.
