Ford has partnered with 3D printing developer EOS to 3D print serial production versions of customized, individual locking wheel nuts that prevent tire theft.
The EOS M 290 3D printer uses StainlessSteel 17-4PH material. The 3D printed nuts prevent wheel and tire theft by using a unique biometric signature based on the car owner’s recorded voice.
