United Grinding North America is expanding its distribution network with the addition of Intermaq to represent the company in Mexico.

Intermaq will represent the full line of equipment offered by United Grinding North America, and will be tasked with expanding the footprint of the precision CNC grinding market in Mexico.

“Intermaq has a stellar track record and reputation in Mexico as a trusted, reliable, and knowledgeable partner to many, many manufacturers. With our base of Mexican operations in Querétaro, Managing Director German Gordillo and his team embedded in the market, and our new partners Intermaq, I am optimistic that we’ll be able to bring our world-class technology to more manufacturers than ever before,” said Markus Stolmar, President and CEO of United Grinding North America.

Gordillo has been a strong advocate of the alliance. “Intermaq is the perfect partner for United Grinding in Mexico,” he said. “Their knowledge of the industry in each region is unmatched, and our teams are already working together to bring our technology to manufacturers who require maximum precision. I am confident with Intermaq and UNITED GRINDING working together, we’ll be able to elevate precision grinding to new heights in Mexico.”

Juan Oetling, CEO of Intermaq added his company will work closely with the United Grinding Mexico team in Querétaro to train staff on the latest advancements in grinding technology.

“We will then provide demonstrations in showrooms located in strategic cities throughout the country, including Mexico City, Monterrey, León, San Luis Potosí and Puebla. With the United Grinding products in our lineup, I’m confident that we’ll be able to help our customers take their precision manufacturing programs to the next level,”  Oetling said.

United Grinding North America also announced that distribution associate Methods Machine Tools will now offer their services to two new states in the USA.

“Methods Machine Tools has been our dealer partner for some time in portions of the Southeastern territory, and has found great success selling our equipment on incredible projects,” said Stolmar. “Because of our successful partnership, the decision was made to offer Methods an expanded territory and award Florida and Michigan to their dealership. I’m excited to see Methods Machine Tool find the same level of success in their new territory as they have in the Southeast.
