Te-Co Manufacturing has announced the hiring of Christopher (Chris) Cornelius as its new vice president of Operations where he will manage day-to-day operations including overseeing engineering, manufacturing and facility operations teams.

Cornelius will be responsible for operations strategy development, implementation and performance measurement, alignment with company goals; and managing budgeting process and P&L responsibilities.

“With proven success in building efficiency into manufacturing processes, improving delivery times and streamlining operations, we’re really happy to have Chris on board,” said Te-Co Manufacturing President Will Doar. “We look forward to improving our performance so that we can be even more effective for our customers.”

Cornelius has a strong background in facilities and operations management with experience in every facet of the manufacturing process and in a variety of industries including appliance and automotive. Most previously, he was senior manager of operations for Enjet Aero where he successfully led the lean transformation of its manufacturing facility. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering technology from the University of Dayton.

Te-Co, based in Union, Ohio, produces a range of tooling components, including Toolex double-station vises, clamping systems, inspection and fixturing components, tooling plates, hoist rings, and much more, all designed to make manufacturing operations more efficient and profitable. TE-CO also owns the Raptor Workholding line of dovetail-style modular vises and is the exclusive North American distributor of Piranha zero-point products and coolant lines, and the Kwik-Clamp quick-change clamping system.
