SMS Machine Tools Ltd., Toronto, has been appointed exclusive distributor in Ontario and Quebec for the Hanwha line of CNC Swiss style lathes. Hanwha Machinery America is a Korean manufacturer of Swiss lathes, supported by Hanwha Corp., a multi-billion dollar publicly traded company. The machine tool builder’s line includes more than 25 different models of Swiss-type precision lathes, most available with or without a guide bushing.
