Royal Products is bringing the Albrecht ER micro-chuck to market.
Royal says the micro-chuck overcomes clearance issues and gives small diameter cutting tools better accuracy and rigidity over length.
Live tools can be optimized with improved vibration dampening than shrink fit extensions and more aggressive chip removal for faster cycle times, as well as improved cutting tool life, Royal says.
