Robert Cattle has been named executive director for the Canadian Tooling and Machining Association (CTMA). He succeeds Les Payne, who has served as a volunteer director, president (2002-2004) and executive director for the past 30 years.
Cattle has more than 35 years of experience in the metalworking industry. For the past 37 years, he has been part-owner of Micrometric Ltd., and over the past decade he has served on the CTMA’s Board of Directors as Toronto Chapter Chair, Vice President, President and Past-President.
Cattle and Payne will work together over the next couple of months as Cattle assumes his new role. Payne plans to embark on his retirement plan in Florida.
