CELOS a new HMI from DMG Mori, made its world debut at EMO 2013 in Hannover, Germany.
The new HMI offers a standardized user interface for all new, high-tech machines from DMG Mori. Compatible with PPS and ERP systems, it can be networked with CAD/CAM applications and is ready for future-oriented CELOS app extensions. Current appls include Status Monitor, Job Manager and Job Assistant. In total, there are 12 different apps.
CELOS apps provide the user with integrated and digitized management, documentation and visualization of order, process and machine data. It eliminates the interfaces between the shop floor and other corporate structures.
During the machining process, the CELOS Status Monitor visualises the current monitoring of the machine with regard to the process, supplies important key performance indicators on the current job as well as on the job progress. It also notifies the operator with special icons as well as text messages about any errors or upcoming maintenance work.
After the personalised login via Smartkey, the user is guided to an app selector, where 12 different apps are activated with a single touch of a finger on the multi-touchscreen. Individual user rights (such as full admin rights or “just” the right to process jobs) can be set in the settings app.
