Shop Metalworking Technology Magazine teams up with industry partners for The Innovation Challenge contest
A new contest aims to help machine shops in Canada improve productivity and gain a better competitive edge.
The Innovation Challenge is the result of a collaborative partnership between Shop Metalworking Technology Magazine and industry suppliers Mazak Canada, Mitutoyo Canada, Sandvik Coromant and Enable Capital. McMaster Manufacturing Research Institute is a contributing sponsor that will interpret productivity data from the contest winner.
The goal of the contest is to take an existing production run with a track record of production data and improve productivity using innovative ideas and technologies with the support of the contest’s industry sponsors. The Canadian company with the winning submission will receive valuable engineering, technical and purchasing assistance.
To enter the contest, visit www.shopmtevent.ca and complete the questionnaire for a chance to win.
Application submission deadline is August 23, 2013.
