Multi-tool spindles for multiple processes

The ATC series of Electro spindles from ITI Tooling are designed for drilling, milling, grinding, tapping, turning and boring operations.

Equipped with a built-in multi-tool carrier, the company says the spindles are designed to gain high performance on production machines and robots when multiple operations or redundant tooling is required.

The durable spindles are low maintenance and assemblies are available in six different frame sizes ranging from 152.4 to 432 mm (6 to 17 in. diameter). Speeds range from 14,000 to 18,000 rpm with power up to 40 hp and each spindle with up to eight tools that link directly to the spindle bore via a HSK connection. Spindles use precision boring bearings that provide accuracy and rigidity with no vibration or chatter.

The spindles are available with a flange or foot type mounting design and can be used in any orientation.
