Metal Supermarkets hires new director of franchise development

Joseph Riner has joined the Metal Supermarkets family of companies as Director,Franchise Development, a newly created position aimed to assist the growth of the network.

Based in Tennessee, Riner will focus on building brand awareness and fostering relationships in the franchise community to attract qualified candidates who desire to own and operate a solid and stable business.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Joseph to the Metal Supermarkets team as part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen the team and strategically grow the franchise network! Joseph has a wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to franchise development and will be a valuable asset to Metal Supermarkets continued success” said Andrew Arminen, Chief Operations and Development Officer at Metal Supermarkets.

Riner will ensure that Metal Supermarkets vision, mission, and core values are engrained into every part of the franchise development process. A core focus area for Joseph will be to assist potential franchisees to fully understand how the business works so that together we can make an educated decision on Metal Supermarkets. Joseph will additionally oversee the continued development and implementation of an effective franchise develop marketing plan focussed on awarding new franchise agreements in markets that Metal Supermarkets chooses to operate in.

Joseph comes to Metal Supermarkets with a diverse background in marketing, business development and franchise sales, having worked with growing franchise brands such as bioPURE and, most recently, Crawl Space Ninja.

During his time at Crawl Space Ninja, Joseph led the implementation and structure of a robust CRM system for franchise lead management, which significantly enhanced the company’s capacity to track and nurture prospective franchisees.

“I’m truly excited to join the Metal Supermarkets team and look forward to growing our franchise network. My goal is to identify and implement creative strategies that will propel the continued growth and success of Metal Supermarkets in the Canadian and U.S. markets” said Riner.

Metal Supermarkets, a supplier of small-quantity metals, has more than 115 brick-and-mortar stores across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom with 10 franchise locations in development.
