Machined vs. printed rocket fuel injectors

To machine or print, that is the question. To be fair, that has only recently become the question as 3D printed metal parts have started to gain recognition for performance that rivals traditionally machined parts. 

In this video, a Swedish machinist compares the performance of 3d printed rocket fuel injectors against standard machined rocket fuel injectors. Certainly, if they are considering printed metals for rocket fuel applications, it’s a pretty close race.
