Kyocera has announced three new series of inserts.
The new CA115P / CA125P series feature advanced CVD-coated carbide technology. The insert grade series combines an innovative coating, carbide substrate, and chip breakers to deliver performance, wear/fracture resistance, and extended tool life in continuous to heavy-interrupted machining.
The PR115S / PR120S series of inserts are designed for turning heat-resistant alloys. These inserts feature wear resistance, reduced cutting edge temperature, and stable performance. With optimized chip breakers and enhanced heat resistance, this series prolongs tool life and sustains performance in HRSA materials as well as stainless steel.
The PR18 series is equipped with PVD coating technology, offering longer tool life. With three distinct grades tailored for steel, stainless steel, and cast iron machining, the PR18 series provides versatility and flexibility to meet diverse milling requirements.
