James McAuliffe Jr. has been named president and chief operations officer of Koike Aronson. He replaces Jerry Leary, who will remain as CEO until March 2017 and then plans to retire from the company.
McAuliffe most recently was CFO at Rigidized Metals Corp., Buffalo, NY. He has extensive experience in finance, distribution, acquisitions, manufacturing, and international operations.
Leary became head of Koike Aronson in 2002 when the company was near bankruptcy. Since then Koike has doubled in size, expanded three times, and invested more than $25 M in new facilities and equipment without borrowing.
