The Square T4-08 is a new shoulder mill with pocket seats and multi-edge inserts for cutting stability and for clean 90° walls.
Inserts mount tangentially in the cutter so cutting forces impact the thickest parts of the inserts for increased depths of cut with small diameters. Positive rake angles with a variable lead on the cutting edge provide smooth cutting, according to the company. Available in different mounting types, insert grades and geometries.
