When they turn out the lights this Thursday evening at Ferro Technique’s Mississauga location following the 16th annual Joint Open House, staff won’t be rolling up the welcome mat. There will be one more important event the very next day: The company’s “Careers and Coffee” event.
“We have the showroom shined up and looking nice so we thought we would take advantage of that,” says Matt Fleming, president of Ferro Technique, explaining that his company is reaching out to area students thinking about becoming a CNC machine tool technician or applications engineer and providing a forum where they can “network with industry experts, speak with hiring managers, and even get the lowdown on CNC equipment.”
Apprentices in both the electrical and mechanical fields are in high demand so Ferro Technique is extending the invitation for “a cup of freshly brewed coffee and an exciting discussion about future opportunities for employment.”
The address for the event, which starts at 10 am and goes to 4 pm on May 5, is 5620 Timberlea Blvd in Mississauga. Call 905-890-3231 for more information and to RSVP or go to ferrotechnique.com
