Fairlane Products, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of rollers and bumpers used in materials handling, assembly and manufacturing applications offers a complete line of Covered Bearings Rollers (also commonly referred to as molded bearings) that have a smooth surface that is cast directly to a precision sealed bearing.

They provide smooth, quiet and non-marring operation, and are available in various durometers of 35, 60, 80 and 95 in both a single and double bearing styles.

The covered bearing-only rollers are offered with or without hardware, in both inch and metric sizes.

The bearing-only rollers are available in 3/4 in. to 3 in. diameters with widths up to 1 1/8 in. Metric sizes are available in 20 to 70 mm diameters with widths up to 24 mm.

Covered bearings are sold complete with stud mount hardware including a button head cap screw, lock nut and spacer. Covered bearings with hardware are available in 7/8 in. to 2 in. diameters with widths up to 7/8 in. Stud thread sizes range from 1/4-20 to 5/8-11 for the inch versions. The metric versions are available in 20 to 50 mm diameters with widths up to 16 mm and thread styles ranging from M5 x 0.8 to M12 x 1.75.

Covered bearing rollers are available in neoprene or urethane materials in various durometers and colors. Neoprene is flame and weather resistant and is resistant to gasoline, oil, ozone and high temperatures. Urethane provides high abrasion resistance, strength and load bearing.

In addition to covered bearings, Fairlane Products also has available a full line of round, square and rectangular bumpers. The company also designs and manufactures a wide range of workholding and positioning components, rollers, replaceable grippers, rest pads, and Swivots — modular component for holding and positioning of irregular contour surfaces, quick releases ball lock pins, workholding grippers, TG GripSerts and GP-series gripper pads.
