Bill Bossard will retire as president of Salvagnini America this year.
Bossard has been president for 18 years. His retirement has been known for some time, and Salvagnini says that for the past two years Bossard has been busy developing the next generation of company management.
That new generation includes Geoff Wilkie, vice president, sales and marketing, who was brought in two years ago to work on digital and software development, customer focus, strategic thinking and product expertise.
In addition, Giovanni Piccolo has taken the position of vice president, project management
and applications. Piccolo is relatively new to the position in the U.S. but has extensive experience and offers a fresh perspective after a long career at the parent company in Europe.
Salvagnini America also says that it will begin construction on a new showroom and training centre this year.
