The “HD” heavy duty system is targeted at fabricators bending 5/16 to 1 in. (8 to 25 mm) thick plate and for those with bending applications that generate high concentrated loads,
such as when bending high tensile strength materials in dies and with smaller than normal v-openings. The modular product offering consists of hydraulic clamping systems (maximum load of 269 tons/ft or 800 tons/m), crowning systems (maximum load of 269 ton/ft or 800 tons/m), bottom toolholders (6 in. or 150 mm), punches, dies (available with the company’s “Easy-to-Move” roller bearings in the tool tangs) and a tool storage and tool loading system.
