After 20 years of service at Tungaloy Canada, Alex Livingston has announced his retirement.

“It is with mixed feelings we announce that after 20 years of dedicated service, Alex Livingston, Tungaloy Canada’s longstanding product manager has retired,” Tungaloy Canada general manager John Mitchell said. “Alex will be missed.”

Livingston started as product manager at Tungaloy Canada in September 2001, responsible for new product introduction and training, along with providing technical support for salespeople, end users and distribution.

Livingston started his career as a machinist at landing gear components manufacturer Westheights Manufacturing (Heroux Devtek), in Kitchener, ON, working his way up to become supervisor and finally plant manager before moving to Valenite. At Valenite he served for six years, starting as a sales engineer and being promoted to field product engineer before starting with Tungaloy Canada.

Tungaloy Canada announced that Hartej Gill will take over as product manager.
