Annual event to draw big crowds
Following on the heels of FABTECH 2011, which hit record-breaking attendance, FABTECH 2013 is aiming to attract big crowds again to the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.
More than 25,000 are expected to attend to see 1,100 exhibitors sprawled across 400,000 net sq ft of trade show floor.
This year’s event has an expanded educational program.
“This year’s lineup will be like no other,” says John Catalano, the show’s co-manager. “We have added more than 50 new sessions, and expanded our welding, management and lean manufacturing tracks. From process, design and production engineers to plant managers, job shop owners and corporate management, FABTECH’s education program provides a valuable learning experience to benefit every member of your team.”
FABTECH is being lead by five co-sponsors representing a variety of expertise. The Fabricators & Manufacturers Association International (FMA), the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) and Chemical Coaters Coaters Association International (CCAI) co-sponsor the sessions on cutting, finishing, forming and fabricating, lean, management, stamping, and tube & pipe. The American Welding Society (AWS) has a comprehensive lineup of welding education.
