CTMA says its Career Ready with CTMA: Expanding Opportunities program is nearly full and association members will need to move quickly to secure the limited number of spots left.
“We want to ensure all CTMA members have a fair opportunity to participate in the program, so if you have recently hired a new employee or are upskilling an existing employee, and have not yet participated in the program, this is your opportunity to access up to $5,000 per placement (non-repayable),” CTMA says in its newsletter to the industry.
CTMA members interested in the program should contact Robin at [email protected] to get started.
Career-Ready with CTMA is an experiential work placement program for the machine, tool, die, mould and automation sector. The program provides non-repayable contributions to eligible employers to subsidize the wages of new hires or the upskilling of existing employees that meet the program’s eligibility criteria. The program is designed to support experiential learning opportunities, which is a hands-on learning model where participants learn by doing. The goal is to provide participants with real-world work experience that improves their employability by building their knowledge and skills.
