Students win 20K manufacturing scholarshipsClick image to enlarge

Ten university, college and secondary students in southwestern Ontario have been awarded scholarships to build their careers in manufacturing.

The scholarships have been awarded by The Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters Southwestern Ontario Branch. The students are from Western University, Fanshawe and Lambton Colleges and a number of secondary schools, reports CTV London.

Brose Canada was also recognized as the Ivey Academy Manufacturer of the Year for their support of hands-on learning for manufacturing education.

Since 1995 $260,000 has been handed out to 176 students aiming for careers in manufacturing, engineering and the skilled trades.
