CorActive High-Tech, a Quebec City-based manufacturer of specialty optical fiber and fiber laser modules, was acquired by Han’s in 2016 to manufacture its own fiber laser source and provide service in Canada.

Han’s CorActive fiber laser offers better back reflection protection for reflective materials and operates at a frequency of 60 hz for faster hole burning, which increases cycle times and reduces overall cost.

Han’s also manufactures cutting heads, tables and automation assemblies with top-of-the-line components, including Rexroth drive technology, Atlanta Rack and Pinion systems, and German-engineered motors. Standard software is included.
