Magellan Aerospace will be manufacturing nose and main landing gear components and kitted assemblies for Messier-Bugatti-Dowty, after being awarded the $80-million program.

Magellan will manufacture the products in its Kitchener, ON, and New York, NY, operations, both of which are centres of excellence for high velocity, hard metal machining and kitting. The US $80-million program extends for the period 2017 to 2021.

Phil Underwood, president and CEO of Magellan notes the strategic importance of this enduring relationship with MBD. "Magellan is able to offer Messier-Bugatti-Dowty an integrated solution that includes both manufacturing expertise and global supply chain management.
