The Joint Open House, an annual event organized by Canadian machine tool distributors, was once again, a big success among manufacturers drawn to the event to see the more than 60 CNC machine tools under power.

The Joint Open House has become a tradition for manufacturers in Southwestern Ontario and even for some from Quebec who attend to see the latest in machining technologies. Now in its 11th year, the participating machine tool suppliers--DMG MORI Canada, Elliott-Matsuura Canada, EMEC Machine Tools, Ferro Technique and SST-Makino--opened their doors to hundreds of manufacturers.

Held April 20 and 21 at the participating company facilities in Mississauga and Oakville, the event also give manufacturers the opportunity to speak to tooling and machining software suppliers also on hand at each of the open houses.

Here's the JOH in pictures.
