OMAX’s showcased its 80X JetMachining Center at FABTECH 2012. It was paired with the latest Intelli-MAX 18 Software Suite, including the new Intelli-VISOR System Monitoring Package, a 50 hp EnduroMAX Pumpas well as an A-Jet articulated cutting head and Rotary Axis combination.

 

The bridge-style 80X JetMachining Center features an X-Y cutting travel of 13 ft 4 in. (5 m 101 mm) x 6 ft 8 in., (2 m 203 mm) making it ideal for cutting large scale components or multiple part projects. The 80X is also capable of machining complex parts from pre-existing CAD drawings or .DXF files using a wide range of materials, including metal, plastic, glass, ceramics, stone and composites.

The latest version of the company’s Intelli-MAX Software Suite provides programming power and solutions together with functions and features that deliver increased compatibility, expandability and customizability for a variety of operations, including advanced six axis 3D machining. As a function of the new software, the Intelli-VISOR System Monitoring Package allows OMAX JetMachining Center owners to monitor the performance of their machines through detailed messages and alerts.

The 50 hp EnduroMAX Pump enables the 80X to operate at higher efficiency than intensifier pumps. Plus, the EnduroMAX Pump delivers more horsepower to the nozzle, while using less electricity than intensifier pumps.
