Bystronic has expanded its ByVision Bending user interface with voice control.
The new feature, introduced at FABTECH 2013 in Chicago, IL, means that important operations on Bystronic’s press brakes can now be executed by voice command. On average, operators spend two hours per shift carrying out corrections on a press brake control unit. With voice control, operators can reduce significantly this non-productive time. It means operators can produce more parts on the machine per shift. Voice control is available in German and English for the Hammerle, Xpert and Xcite press brakes.
