Conference to highlight, plant operation improvement strategies, machining, fabricating technologies

Manufacturers who want a glimpse of the future of manufacturing will want to attend a new conference on September 25 in Toronto, Shop Insights 2012.

Shop Insights 2012 Conference, organized by Shop Metalworking Technology magazine and supported by industry sponsors DMG Canada, Iscar Tools, Enable Capital, TRUMPF and Salvagnini, will be held September 25 at the International Centre and will be co-located with Advanced Manufacturing Expo, a new trade show from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and AmCon Design and Contract Manufacturing Expo.

Insights 2012 promises to deliver a comprehensive information package on the latest in machining technologies, fabricating technologies and management issues—strategies to succeed, equipment purchasing options and opportunities in automotive and aerospace manufacturing markets.

Skills training and how to get funding for it will be the topic of our keynote. Karyn Brealry, executive director of The Yves Landry Foundation will highlight funding opportunities for skills training available to manufacturers.

For the full agenda and to register for the event, visit Insights 2010 online at www.shopmtinsights.ca.
