Wilson Tool International has introduced the Brake Partner tooling holder for punch presses and press brakes.
The Brake Partner eliminates secondary operations and improves tool handling. The tooling holder, which is manufactured to fit in virtually any press brake, features spring pads to absorb impact and can be used with or without guide posts, depending on the application.
Brake Partner is especially suitable for fabricators who have migrated away from punch presses to laser cutting machines, or those whose punch presses are running at full capacity. The solution allows shops to expand the capabilities of their existing press brakes, saving on the cost of a new machine, or of outsourcing punching applications.
The Brake Partner makes it possible to use existing punch press tooling in the press brake to produce holes and forms in house, even when no punch press is available. The press brake holder can be used with or without guide posts.
