Ottawa is investing millions of dollars in Pratt & Whitney’s Mississauga, ON, facility, according to a news story from The Toronto Star.
The official annoucement, expected today, Monday, December 8, 2015, will help support the company’s ongoing work to produce a new class of jet engines for next generation commercial aircraft, according to the Toronto Star news story.
The multi-million dollar investment from the Federal government is expected to maintain and create approximately 1,500 jobs in the company, but also will likely spur growth for supply chain manufacturing suppliers.
