Rhino Cutting Systems is the latest Canadian company to enter the fiber laser cutting market. The company’s made-in-Canada fiber laser cutting machine made its debut at FABTECH 2014 in Atlanta, GA, last November.

Rhino joins two other Canadian suppliers of fiber laser cutting machines: EBF, Victoriaville, QC, and Alpha Lazer Inc., Saint-Marc-des-Carrieres, QC.

The Rhino Fiber Laser (RFL) series includes different models, ranging from manually operated models to automatic, manufacturing cells that are designed with integrated loading and unloading. The new fiber laser machines are built with 1 kW and 4 kW IPG fiber laser resonators and are offered with a range of cutting heads from manual to CNC controlled motorized focus and spot size adjustment features. The company says its fiber laser cutting machines can be equipped with technology for every range of material and thicknesses.Inside look at Rhino's fiber laser cutting machine

EBF launched its fiber laser cutting machines in 2012. The EBF machines are built in Canada using Hypertherm’s fiber laser cutting technology and are offered in a range of sizes with different fiber laser power ranges.

Alpha Lazer Inc. offers a variety of models in its fiber laser family from standard manual machines to an automatic linear driven manufacturing cell equipped with loading and unloading systems. The machines are built using IPG Photonics fiber resonators and are offered with a range of fiber laser power options from 0.5 kW to 6 kW.
