Mazak Optonics now offers the Super Turbo-X Champion with an available 2.5 kW resonator.
Along with the new Type 10 resonator, the STX Champion delivers a combination of economy, rugged construction and performance not found in lighter weight designs.
Built on Mazak’s hybrid platform known for rigidity, accuracy and durability, the STX Champion offers many benefits including a 1,786 lb (810 kg) workpiece capacity for sheets up to 0.87 in. (22 mm) thick, high positioning accuracy, improved machine travel support, and easy loading access.
Equipped with Mazatrol Preview function control, the STX Champion achieves improved efficiency and ease of use. The control automatically determines the cutting speed and acceleration from each cutting point to the next and uses integrated technology tables for a wide range of materials and thicknesses.
The STX Champion also contains standard features to increase throughput and ROI. The standard features include: Mazak’s cutting-edge Type 10 resonator with ECO mode, a power conveyor to reduce required floor space and three pneumatic workpiece clamps to help position and secure full sheets and remnants during cutting.
In addition to these standard benefits, the STX Champion is built on a standard Mazak platform that can permit the integration of up to four machines in a modular automation system. This flexibility will allow for easy future expansion as needs change.
