Cincinnati Inc. is displaying two new press brakes at FABTECH 2023, in addition to a new measuring system and other highlights.
New this year is the XFORM (pictured), the latest Cincinnati press brake offering. It provides operators an ergonomically-friendly HMI that can be positioned virtually anywhere in front of the machine. Dual monitors allow for easy viewing of the control, bend simulations, CAD viewers, and camera angles with the new camera package.
The new Eco model is an energy-efficient hybrid hydraulic system. It uses a fraction of the oil that a traditional hydraulic press brake uses. It also features Cincinnati’s environmentally friendly Firesafe Eco oil.
Also new is the EZ Bend press brake with integrated automation features. The new system frees operators to focus on intricate bends, while the EZ Bend cell takes care of more routine operations. The EZ Bend is built around the press brake COBOTIC arm. This system positions metal parts within a press brake automatically, ensuring precise bending within designated allowances and eliminating dependence on manual labour and the potential for human error.
The InspXt Measuring System is another new system on display at FABTECH. InspXt checks and detects parts that do not meet quality standards or customer requirements, preventing defective products from leaving the cutting station. InspXt raises the standard for inspection with the ability to inspect for tolerance deviations, flaws, and anomalies more precisely than the visual systems existing in the market. It also collaborates with Cincinnati’s scheduling system, enabling failed parts to undergo a recut with the right specifications on the laser without the need for any manual intervention.
Other systems on display at the Cincinnati booth include the EZ Weld cobotic arm system, the CLX 4020 fibre laser, the Encompass smart manufacturing software backbone and the new MARCH 500 CORE, with automated load and unload..
